The whole board regenerates on a schedule as forecasts sharpen toward kickoff, so what you see in the morning is not what you saw two days ago.

Every PRO call settles from the final box score and goes into a running record — losing stretches included.

Anyone can tell you it'll be 38° and windy. The useful question is what 38° and windy has historically done to scoring at that specific stadium — and whether the number on the board already accounts for it.

The venue read

Forecast at the venue, against that venue's own past.

Hour-by-hour temperature, wind, rain and humidity pulled for each venue's own coordinates and read at the exact kickoff or first-pitch hour — in local time, not a city-level average. Then every past game at the same venue in similar conditions, era-adjusted so an older scoring environment doesn't read as a weather effect.

  • Matched games counted and shown — if the sample is too thin, the page says so instead of printing a percentage
  • Six box-score signals per game: scoring, passing, rushing, completions, turnovers, fumbles
  • Over/under rates measured against the closing total that was actually on the board that day
  • Severity chips so the slate sorts itself: severe, elevated, watch, indoor

Every call settles against the box score. Losing stretches included.

A call is archived the moment it posts and graded the morning after from the real result — a home run that happened or didn't, a rushing line beaten or not, a finish inside the bar or outside it. The record is published, and so is the calibration: what we said would happen 25% of the time, and how often it actually did.

  • Stated probability vs. actual hit rate, bucket by bucket — the table that tells you how much to trust the number
  • Nothing gets quietly dropped: a target that didn't play is excluded, a target that missed is a miss
  • The same receipts feed the model — when a signal stops holding, it gets shrunk

Is the radar actually free?
Yes. Every sport's weather radar — the slate, the venue history, the 3D scenes, the hourly forecast strips — is open to anyone, with no account. PRO is the paid layer on top: player-level boards and their graded records.
What makes this different from checking the forecast myself?
The forecast is the input, not the answer. DFSRADAR reads it at the venue's own coordinates at the kickoff hour, then finds every past game at that venue in similar conditions and reports what happened to scoring, against the closing totals that were on the board those days. The useful number is not "15 mph" — it's what 15 mph has historically done at that stadium.
How often does it update?
The board rebuilds four times a day for MLB and daily for the weekly sports, with an extra pre-kick pass on game day. Forecasts sharpen as kickoff nears, so the morning read and the 5 PM read are not the same read.
What happens when a call is wrong?
It goes in the record. Every PRO call is archived the moment it posts and graded the next morning from the real box score. The record and the calibration table are public, and losing stretches stay in them. When a signal stops holding up, it gets shrunk in the model — the receipts are the feedback loop, not decoration.
Is this betting advice?
No. Weather-adjusted insights are informational. Historical tendencies are tendencies, not guarantees, and sample sizes are shown on every number so you can judge them yourself. If gambling is a problem for you, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
