How it works
Cup cars don't race ovals in the rain — and every remaining 2026 points race is on an oval. So the rain number IS the story: showers push races into the night or to Monday, and a delayed race is a different DFS slate. We pull the hourly forecast at this week's track for the full race window: rain risk hour by hour (peak drives the delay outlook), green-flag conditions, wind and gusts, and the temp swing from green flag to the finish — the track cools, grip comes up, and handling changes with it. Rebuilt every morning as race day approaches.
