How it works
Every week, half the field tees off in the morning and half in the afternoon (Thursday waves flip on Friday). When wind or rain is lopsided between waves, the two halves of the field are playing different golf courses — and that's the sharpest weather edge in golf DFS. We pull the hourly forecast at this week's course and split every round into its AM and PM windows: average wind, peak gusts, and rain risk for each wave, flagged whenever the gap is big enough to matter. Rebuilt every morning as the forecast sharpens.
